Customer: A User who posts a task or requests a service through the Platform.

Tasker: A User who offers to perform tasks or services posted by Customers.

Task: A specific errand or service requested by a Customer and performed by a Tasker.

Platform: The MessengerBird website, mobile app, and related services.

User: Any individual or entity using the Platform, whether as a Customer or Tasker.

You must be legally capable of entering into contracts and reside in Nigeria or a region where MessengerBird operates.

Taskers must provide accurate identification, contact details, and, where applicable, proof of qualifications or licenses required to perform specific tasks.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of any entity you represent.

Account Creation: To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including your email address, phone number, and a secure password. You agree to keep this information updated.

Affiliate Accounts: If you allow affiliates (e.g., employees or subsidiaries) to access your account, you are responsible for their actions and compliance with these Terms.

Permitted Use: The Platform connects Customers with Taskers for errands such as deliveries, shopping, or other lawful tasks. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Prohibited Activities: You may not: - Use the Platform for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities, including transporting prohibited items (e.g., drugs, weapons, or stolen goods).

Post or perform tasks involving adult content, hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.

Attempt to bypass Platform security, interfere with its functionality, or misuse APIs or integrations.

Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or task details.

Task Agreements: The Platform facilitates connections between Customers and Taskers. Any agreement for task completion is between the Customer and Tasker. MessengerBird is not a party to these agreements but earns a commission on completed tasks.

Task Posting: Customers must provide clear, accurate task descriptions, including location, deadlines, and any specific requirements.

Payment: Customers agree to pay the agreed task fee plus any applicable Platform commission, as displayed at the time of posting. Payments are processed through our secure payment system.

Conduct: Customers must communicate respectfully with Taskers and ensure tasks comply with applicable laws.

Commission: MessengerBird earns a commission on each completed task, as specified at the time of task posting or acceptance.

Payment Terms: Customers pay through the Platform’s payment system. Taskers receive payment for completed tasks, less the commission, within [X] business days, subject to verification.

Taxes: Users are responsible for any applicable taxes related to tasks or payments, in accordance with Nigerian tax laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, MessengerBird is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use, including loss of profits or data.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific task or service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold MessengerBird harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

By You: You may terminate your account by providing [30] days’ written notice to messengerbirdservices@gmail.com or through the Platform’s account settings.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, engaging in fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with notice, as permitted by law.
